As a member of The Arc, you are helping make positive changes for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.
Membership fees allow us to provide local programs like camp scholarships and self-advocacy training, special equipment and respite programs. It further helps us strengthen The Arc’s public policy advocacy, because membership numbers matter to legislators and to share vital information with you.
Members are invited to vote on position statements and issues that are relevant to the people we support. Your voice helps shape The Arc’s work on behalf of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Membership Types
- Self-Advocate or Student: $35
- Individual — one adult plus children: $50
- Household — two adults plus children: $75
- Organization — non-voting member: $125
- Arc Angel - $500
You become a member of three organizations with one annual fee; your local chapter, The Arc of Iowa and The Arc of the United States.
Memberships are tax deductible and non-refundable. Membership is a separate transaction from donations to The Arc’s Annual Fund. Renew or become a member today by filling out the membership form.
